Also, vw has the maintenance schedule in an easy to read chart, however, it only goes up to 100k miles, and there might be some discrepancies. I'd stick to the manual as the minimum required maintenance. Also, vehicles used in "severe" conditions might need to adjust the service intervals. See the manual for details.

JapanRed. Passed Driver's Ed. Location. Leeds. Sep 1, 2016. #1. Hi all, My dealer told me that our new Golf GTD would need servicing every 10k miles or once a year, whichever comes soonest. However, the onboard computer says oil change is due at 18k miles and normal service at 20k miles.
Marginally cheaper from private VW specialists. Major service for DSG ranges from $1200-$1600 from dealers. Yes, I rang around and some dealer wanted $1600 for 60,000km service and some quoted around $1200. I got it done at a VW specialist for around $1000. This was for Golf R32 DSG.
The 7 speed DSG (dq381) is a wet clutch DCT just like the 6 speed dq250 was. There is a dry clutch DSG called the dq200, but it was only offered on the 1.0L - 1.9L engines from the lower model Golfs sold outside of NA. The MK7.5 GTI and R use the wet clutch dq381.
Additional Maintenance Items Refer to the Additional Maintenance Items Table below The intervals shown in this table are based on vehicles operating under normal conditions. In case of severe conditions, such as extremely low temperatures, excessive dust, etc., it is necessary for certain operations to be carried out in between the given intervals.
zKaQHL. Expert mechanics know that the 40,000-mile mark calls for services beyond the standard 10,000-mile maintenance. During a typical 40,000-mile service appointment, mechanics inspect components like the tires, battery, brakes, and engine. They’ll identify problems and recommend repairs or replacements if necessary.

I have a 2020 DSG GTI that is sitting around 33k miles. Mod-wise, the engine is tuned to "stage 2" (Upgraded trans and engine tune + majority of bolt-ons). Is there anything I should be servicing more frequently than what is recommended for stock? The most I've read so far is more frequent oil changes (5k miles~) and new plugs potentially.
Ive just made the jump to a Passat CC 170 also. According to the handbook, the cambelt interval is every 140k miles with no time interval stated. In regards to the the DSG servicing, it might be an idea to give VW Customer services a call (quoting the reg) and ask if the DSG services have been carried out.

timely maintenance is very important. Consider a slightly shorter oil interval. Check oil levels maybe every 1-2 gas tank fill ups and on those days, check tire pressure too if tuned consider shortening the dsg service by a bit too and oil as well. Edit; sorry about the bad info. According to shopdap mk7 and 7.5 dsg interval is the same. My
