Almost. Thanks to Content Manager's new Gamepad FX scripts, gamepads are now usable in Assetto Corsa. Gamepad FX allows a LUA script to monitor and change inputs to aid controllers. If anyone's enabled 'Steering Assist' for Im currently trying to get Sol installed in Assetto Corsa but whenever I open Content Manager and head into my CSP settings, I see that Controller Script isn't an option at all in Weather FX, so I can't set it to Sol either. It's not easy to feel completely in control that way, but in the end I have an easier time controlling the car with a gamepad in AC than I do in Forza. My gamepad is on but I cannot move the car at all. Open Content Manager, go to Ijust noticed gamepad FX is part of CM, it's on the settings > CSP tab, you just enable it from there no? that is why i was also confused. it does not show up in the custom shaders patch. This is just a guess but maybe it's one of the features only available in the paid version of CM, not sure. itried it with xpadder, but isnt possible to change the throttle / brakes to buttons A / X from the front buttons. and when changing to keyboard steering with arrows no analog input on the steering stick is possible. :/. configure the gamepad as wheel/custom, then try with the external software to complement. A7-Assist - Gamepad FX because regardless of the lock angle, Gamepad FX treats the steering wheel angle as a value from -1 to +1, so I had to increase the steering wheel speed relative to a car with a small lock angle. but the behavior is not much different.
