We have a Mazda 6 on our fleet, just less than 3 years old but nearly 70,000 miles. Over the last few thousand miles DPF light has been on. Went in for service and was charged for DPF regen (£50.00) which did not fix the fault. Been back in for diagnostics and have been advised this: "DPF light on due to timing chain stretch causing an angle 2021 KIA Niro 3 1.6 Petrol Hybrid. March 22, 2011, 17:05:28. On the UK KIa forum thare has been much mention of the fuel consupmtion of the Ceed 1.6 CRDi car - which I thought had the same power train as the current i30 1.6 CRDi. However they talk about DPF regeneration and its effect on overall fuel economy. All DPF equipped cars carry out active regeneration. It’s simply how you describe the process it’s not a separate technology. The Renault 1.5 diesel is very clean running however and these rarely suffer DPF issues though as with any Renault they suffer badly as they age from trim and electrical problems plus timing belts are prone to The engine is equipped with variable geometry turbocharger VTG, start-stop system, exhaust gas recirculation system EGR with cold cycle and diesel particulate filter DPF. There are a few words about R9M 160PS. It is twin-turbocharged 160hp diesel engine based on Energy dCi 130 engine (power output of 100hp per liter). It produced 380Nm peak torque. 5058 posts · Joined 2017. #4 · Jul 28, 2021. Both the Edge CTS style and Banks iDash monitors will allow you to perform a manual regeneration on your truck. They will also show you your soot loading so you know when a regeneration is starting and when it has completed. "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam". The DPF regeneration event led to the decrease of fuel economy and the increase of particle number, nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxides emission. Particle number emission factors were increased from approximately 10 9 #/km to 5 × 10 10 #/km during DPF regeneration. The average power output of the car was in the range of 14.5 kW–15.6 kW and KOELm0D. Sunderland UK. Sep 12, 2015. #11. The gtd doesn't do passive regens and the fans after switch off are cooling the dpf down not a continuing dpf regen. I think its been well documented that the mk7 does not do passive regens. The addition of adblue should effectively mean a dpf will never be clogged again. Forced long regeneration of DPF (performed by Mazda personnel) 2. Checked all Diesel fuel injectors (all worked fine) 3. Used several additives cleaning DPF ( DPF ware factor reported by Mazda software is about 7% - excellent) none of the above worked. 95% of people don't know anything about DPFs and regen (I didn't before owning a diesel) and most of them also don't notice the car is even regenerating or needs to until they get a clogged DPF from doing 2 mile trips to work for years on end. I think it would cause more mayhem and confusion than simply not mentioning it. Diesel consumers also notice lower mileage in the winter. Burning more fuel costs you money, but it also means more diesel particulate filter (DPF) problems. Increased idle times in the winter also causes major DPF regeneration problems. As with gasoline, refiners have to change the composition of diesel fuel in the winter to enhance cold We have encountered the problem of it doing the DPF regen and not suceeding - this results in diesel going into the oil and the pressure dropping. Basically, I'm wondering - does anyone know how you can tell if the regen is happening so that we can make sure the car is running?
